It’s tempting to think that if we just drink this or that we will magically be fit and healthy. It doesn’t work like that. The key lies in making good choices about what we eat and how we move most days of the year.
Your diet doesn’t have to be perfect. Your workout doesn’t have to be perfect. Just start. Just try. And keep trying.
There are millions of people who talk about getting healthy, losing weight, improving their fitness, but they talk about it from the couch.
Don’t be the person who talks about it from the couch.
Get up and move. Eat a salad. Try. Every day.
Sunday is self-care day. It’s just as important to rest as it is to exercise. Giving yourself a day of rest each week allows you to recharge your energy for the week ahead.
But just as important as getting enough rest is cultivating the habit of gratitude. Giving thanks for the blessings in our lives can make all the difference as we face the challenges of each day.
So today, take the time to Rest and Be Thankful.
