We all have those days, right? The days where we don’t want to get out of bed, or we come home tired and just want to flop on the couch and binge on our favorite television show and a bucket of popcorn.
On those days, we have to remind ourselves that we are in control of our minds and emotions. We have the power to say, “I’m going to do this!” Once you start moving just a little, even if it’s just to go for a walk around the block, you will feel proud of yourself that you were disciplined, that you overcame the challenge, that you changed your body state by moving, and that you continued to build a healthy habit. Not to mention that working out, whether it’s time spent at the gym, or a simple walk, gives you time and space to find your center and to prove to yourself that you care about and respect yourself.
